Today’s Good News
Kudos
to Officer Anthony Paciello who was named Third Precinct’s Officer of the Month for August! While there is no “I” in team, we
like to say there is definitely a “P” as in Paciello. That’s because Officer Paciello is the consummate team player. From keeping the
sector lieutenant informed of suspects in several property crimes to backing up
his fellow officers to playing a key role in operations to catch bike thieves
and shop lifters, Officer Paciello does it all, and does it well.
He started the month putting together a
surveillance operation with other sector bike officers to identify and catch
offenders breaking into people’s cars near Byrd Park. Their efforts resulted in
the identification of a man wanted for several larcenies. Officer Paciello also
worked with a fellow officer to conduct a surveillance operation at a local
business that was experiencing a high amount of shoplifting. Their efforts
resulted in a serious decline in shoplifting. These are just two of the many
examples of how Officer Paciello works with his fellow officers to improve the
quality of life and make the city an even safer place to live, work and play. Thank
you and congratulations Officer Anthony Paciello!
