Today’s Good News
Fourth Precinct
Officers Eric Livengood and Nicholas Castrinos were on patrol in
Gilpin Court recently when they heard a gunshot just before midnight and went
to investigate. A woman flagged them down and told them an unknown male had
argued with her before shooting at her and then jumping into a vehicle nearby.
The officers spotted the vehicle, but the female driver refused to stop. They
broadcast the vehicle description and minutes later Officer Lance Falkena stopped the car a few streets away. After
further investigation, the offender was found in the vehicle and charged
appropriately. The driver was also arrested and charged with obstruction of
justice and the firearm used was also recovered. Good work officers!
