Today’s Good News
Several
First Precinct officers recently
responded to a residence to investigate a report of a man who had threatened
suicide. Officer James Peck was the
first officer on scene and found a man who had tried to hang himself from a
tree. He quickly ran to the victim and supported his weight with his own body
until Lt. Jason Hudson and Officers Paul
Scallan and Drew Carr could get
him down safely. The officers then provided first aid until ambulance personnel
arrived and took him to the hospital. Thanks to these officers’ swift actions,
the man’s life was saved. Good work officers!
