Sept. 16 – Sept. 17, 2013

Today’s Good News
Thanks to observant neighbors and fast-responding Second Precinct officers, two men who stole a heat pump from a house recently were quickly arrested. Officer Kenneth Greaves spotted the suspects’ vehicle fleeing the scene as he arrived and broadcast the description as he followed.  Though he lost sight of the vehicle, Officer Randy Hager found it parked behind a residence nearby. He and Officers Robert Taylor and Steven Eacho then searched the area and found and arrested both suspects. After further investigation by Detective Derrick Longoria, both suspects were charged in connection with the theft. Good work officers and neighbors for paying attention to your surroundings and notifying police of suspicious activity!
