Today’s Good News

A woman recently wrote a letter to commend Third Precinct Officer David Torrence for his professionalism and caring attitude after her husband died suddenly. The woman wrote that was comforted by his kindness, sympathy, helpfulness and understanding.

“He understood that my world has just fallen apart and his sympathy was genuine,” she wrote. “I wish I could better explain how much his reassuring manner comforted me and how much I appreciate his kindness. As a Richmond homeowner and taxpayer, I’m proud that the Richmond Police Department has solid compassionate men and women like Officer Torrence in its ranks.”
