We
often say our officers go above and beyond their regular call of duty with the
great work they do, but First Precinct
Officer Harry Fitzpatrick took that that to a whole new level—quite
literally. He was one of several officers who recently spotted a known male
trespassing in Whitcomb Court. As the officers went to speak with the man—who
is a six-time convicted felon—the man ran away and threw a firearm on the roof of
a building. With the assistance of the Richmond Fire Department, Officer
Fitzpatrick climbed on the roof and recovered the weapon. The man was captured
and charged with trespassing and possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.
Way to go ABOVE and beyond, Officer Fitzpatrick!
