Today’s Good News

Second Precinct Officer Ezequiel Canete recently responded to investigate a burglary call, but quickly determined there was more going on. After finding the home’s front door kicked in, officers checked the residence and found no one inside, but Officer Canete smelled marijuana and observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. After obtaining a search warrant, Officer Canete seized a handgun, mask, nearly a pound of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cocaine. Thanks to his investigation, three felony warrants have been obtained for an individual that will soon remove a drug dealer off the streets. Good work Officer Canete!
