Today’s Good News

Thanks in part to not-too-bright criminals and the good detective work of Richmond Police, a pair of burglars were identified and arrested within hours of the crime last week. Second Precinct Officer Adam Sheer was the first officer on scene at the business on Jefferson Davis Highway. He interviewed the store owner and with the assistance of Detective Derrick Longoria and the owner, they quickly identified one of the burglars as customer. Detective Longoria went to interview the first suspect and found him in the company of the second suspect. He arrested both juveniles, recovered the stolen items and charged them with burglary and grand larceny. Good work!
