July 29 – July 30, 2013

Today’s Good News
They say timing is everything. That was certainly the case last week when Third Precinct Officer Anddy Quinonez responded to a home to investigate a report of a man looking into vehicles in a driveway. The victim reported he had seen a man looking inside his vehicles, but that the man had gotten into a nearby vehicle and driven away. As Officer Quinonez was interviewing the victim, the victim suddenly pointed to a vehicle driving nearby as the one the suspect had gotten into. Third Precinct Officers quickly stopped the vehicle and though the victim could not immediately identify the thieves, the three people inside the car were found with a stolen item from the victim’s vehicle. After further investigation by Detective Don Grata, the trio was charged with petit larceny and entering a vehicle for criminal mischief.
