July 18 – July 19, 2013

Today’s Good News
First Precinct officers recently responded to Mechanicsville Turnpike to investigate a report of a man who had been robbed of his scooter the day before, but spotted the thieves riding it the next day. Officer Osnel Alexander interviewed the victim and with the assistance of Officer Michael Morris, they approached the two individuals with the stolen scooter. One of the men ran, but Officer Morris quickly caught and arrested him. After further investigation and interviews by Detective Clyde Lindsey, both men charged with robbery and the stolen scooter was returned to its rightful owner. Good work officers!
