Today’s Good News
Five minutes was
all it took recently for Third Precinct officers to find and arrest a
man who robbed another man at gunpoint on West Carnation Street. Officer
Daniel Minor interviewed the victim and broadcast the suspect’s description
while Officer James DeVaul spotted a man matching the description trying
to hide behind nearby vehicles. With the assistance of Officer Devin Marks,
they quickly took him into custody. Further investigation by Officers DeVaul,
Marks, Officer William Campbell and K-9 Officer James Turner and K-9 Arek
resulted in the discovery of the firearm used, the stolen property and the path
from the initial scene of the crime. The offender was subsequently charged with
robbery. Good work officers!
