Today’s Good News
Time was definitely not on the side of a
burglar who recently stole several watches during two mid-morning burglaries on
Woodhaven Drive. Second Precinct Officer
Jeff Urban was the first officer on scene and he quickly broadcast the
suspect’s description based on witness reports. Detective Jorge Thondique spotted a man nearby who he knew had a
history of committing burglaries and matched the suspect description. Officers Jean Therency and Jeremy Nierman
safely took the man into custody and after further investigation, the man was
identified by the witness and detectives charged him with burglary and grand
larceny. Good work officers!
