Dec. 3 – Dec. 4, 2013

Today’s Good News
He may not look like Tom Cruise, but Second Precinct Detective Roy Pullen may have felt like he was in the movie Minority Report recently when he made an arrest before a crime could occur. As he was driving down Hull Street Road, he noticed two men dressed in dark clothing peeking around the corner of a building into a nearby business. He also noticed that one of the men was wearing a mask. He quickly radioed for backup and with the assistance of Officer Michael Eldridge safely took the men into custody.

Further investigation revealed a hidden firearm nearby and though neither man would admit to the robbery that was about to take place, detectives believe they stopped a crime before it could be committed. They charged one man with wearing a mask in public and the investigation remains on-going with additional charges possible. Good work officers!
