March 21 – March 24, 2014

Today’s Good News
Criminals aren’t always the sharpest knives in the drawer. Take this incident for example: First Precinct Officer James Peck and Master Patrol Officer Sharon Slavey recently responded to a downtown business to investigate a report of a man who had broken into the restaurant and stolen alcohol. After further investigation with Detectives Tori Wilson and David Cuffley, officers were able to broadcast a detailed suspect description. Less than five hours later, keen-eyed Officer Lemont Carey spotted the suspect on South 14th Street and took him into custody. On the man’s person they found a bottle of alcohol—complete with the pour spout still on top of the bottle. Good work officers!
