March 12 – March 13, 2014

Today’s Good News
Kudos to Officer John Story who was named Fourth Precinct’s Officer of the Month for February! Last month, Officer Story worked hard to enhance his knowledge and skills and conducted two stops that resulted in arrests and the seizure of illegal drugs. The proper handling of these cases can be traced back to his willingness to seek advice from senior officers and the proper tactics to use in case such as these.

Officer Story also made four misdemeanor arrests and three felony arrests as well as issued eight summonses and served four warrants. He ran 86 radio calls and had 105 sight calls. Officer Story has made great strides in developing as a police officer. He recently moved to evening shift and has made a seamless transition. He has been very proactive on the directed patrol assignment for Sector 413 and regularly self-initiates a walking patrol in his sector where he conducts multiple subject stops. Thank you, and congratulations Officer John Story!
