Kudos
to Officer Andrew Nicholson who was
named Third Precinct’s Officer of the
Month for July! Officer
Nicholson has been the embodiment of community policing recently. Through his
keen observation skills, attention to detail and community involvement, he has
made several good arrests, shown initiative and improved the community’s
quality of life. During the
month of July, he demonstrated superior problem solving skills during multiple
investigations that resulted in several property crime and violent crime
arrests.
One example occurred during a walking
assignment in which he observed an individual acting suspiciously and initiated
a conversation. That conversation resulted in the man’s arrest on 13 felony
warrants out of neighboring jurisdiction for sex crimes against children. Thank
you and congratulations, Officer Andrew Nicholson!
