Today’s Good News
A
woman stopped by First Precinct last
week to ask some questions about a community event nearby, but she also spoke
about how nice one of the officers was to her the day before. The woman said
she had been stranded on the South side of the Lee Bridge and that an officer
had come to her rescue. He went out of his way to take care of her and make
sure she got on her way again safely, she said. Minutes later, the woman’s face
lit up as that officer—Officer Nicholas
Wallis—walked around the corner. Overjoyed to see Officer Wallis again, the
woman smiled, thanked him again and happily posed for a photo, which is now on
our Facebook page. Good job and thank you for going that extra mile, Officer
Wallis!
