Today’s Good News
Kudos to Second Precinct Detective Pedro who was named the Department’s Problem Solver of the Month for April! Detective Riddle really stepped up to a huge challenge in April. Not only did he thoroughly investigate and clear several of the 45 property crimes and robberies assigned to him, but he also took on the caseload of a fellow detective who was promoted out of the unit.
This work required him to flex his schedule to cover a variety of shifts, all the while continuing to investigate several crimes. Detective Riddle handily accepted the challenge and even made the time to train the detective’s replacement.
Of his efforts, Detective Sergeant Sean Adams wrote, “Detective Riddle prioritized his cases appropriately and managed to diligently produce successful conclusions in them while balancing his overall obligations to the unit.”
