Today’s Good News
Things happen fast out in the community – but our officers often act faster. When a call came in for random gunfire near a convenience store last week, Second Precinct Officer Jason Pritchard headed to the scene while listening for details from other officers. When a suspect vehicle description was broadcast, Officer Pritchard scanned traffic while on route and stopped a vehicle matching the description. In just moments, an arrest was made, a gun and drugs were recovered, and a reminder was sent about how quickly good things can happen. Great work!
