Today’s Good News
Fourth Precinct Officers Keary Lightfoot and Robert
Knight were patrolling on St. Paul Street
recently when they noticed a parked vehicle that was idling without a driver and
blocking the roadway. As they investigated further, a man ran toward the
vehicle, saying it was his. Because the man appeared to be under the influence,
the officers investigated further and discovered drugs and open containers of
alcohol inside the vehicle. With the assistance of Officers Aaron Henning, Joseph Balducci and Anthony McRae, further
investigation revealed more drugs and firearms inside the vehicle and a nearby
residence. Officers then charged the man with several offenses, including possession
of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession with intent to distribute
marijuana. Good work officers!
