Today’s Good News
Just
call it good old fashioned police work! Second
Precinct Officer Brian Rogers was on patrol in the 5300 block of Hull
Street in the early morning hours recently when he observed what appeared to be
an attempted burglary at a restaurant. He quickly notified the Division of Emergency Communications
and advised units to set up a perimeter. Shortly thereafter the two suspects
took off running when Officer Rogers and
Officer Nathaniel Harris spotted
them. After a short foot pursuit, they were both taken into custody without
further incident. The juveniles were transported to the precinct and
interviewed. During the interview, one of the suspects admitted to a previous
burglary, and both juveniles were charged with attempted burglary. Good work
officers!
