Today’s Good News
Thanks to the keen eyes and good investigative work by several Fourth
Precinct officers and detectives this weekend, a woman who held another
woman against her will and robbed her was quickly arrested. Just before 6 p.m.,
a woman was approached by an unknown woman who threatened and robbed her. Detective
James Higgins gathered the suspect’s description and broadcast it while a
short time later Officers Gene Carter and Ryan Donald spotted a woman
matching that description and detained her. With the assistance of Detective
Kristie Reed, the victim identified the offender who was then interviewed
and charged with robbery, assault on a law enforcement officer and destruction
of property. Good work everyone!
