Today’s Good News
After a
man was assaulted and robbed on Stockton Avenue recently, First Precinct
officers worked together to connect the information and identify the
robbers within hours of the crime. Officer Erika Berube was the first
officer on scene and she gathered and broadcast the two suspects’ descriptions
while Lt. Dan Minton and Sgt. Kelly O’Connell identified and located a
third individual believed to be involved in the crime. Further investigation by
Detective Calvin Layne, Officer Keith Mansfield and K-9 Officer Fred Bates resulted in the identification and quick arrest of the two robbers and
the third individual involved. All three were charged with malicious wounding
and robbery. Good work officers!
