Today’s Good News
Thanks to the speedy response and good
observation skills of several Second
Precinct officers recently, a man was quickly arrested for assaulting two
men he tried to rob. Officer Richard
Price was the first officer on scene and he quickly broadcast the suspect’s
description and the getaway vehicle’s last known direction of travel. Detectives Mark Hatchett and Derrick
Longoria spotted the vehicle nearby and followed it until they could safely
stop it and detain the individual inside. They recovered a firearm and after
further investigation by Detective
Patrick Brady, the man was charged with attempted robbery and use of a
firearm during the commission of a felony. Good work!
