Today’s Good News

An elderly man recently wrote to commend Fourth Precinct Officer Kaneka McQueen for the help she provided him when he could not remember where he parked his car. Officer McQueen drove him around the Scott’s Addition neighborhood looking for the car and when they couldn’t find it, she dropped him off nearby to a waiting friend. But before she began the paperwork to report it stolen, she searched the area one more time and finally found his car.

The man was so impressed with Officer McQueen’s efforts that he wrote a glowing letter praising her service. “I had no idea police did things like this,” he wrote. “Officer McQueen’s hard work makes me proud to be a Richmond citizen and taxpayer. Thank you Officer McQueen!”
