Today’s Good News
First Precinct Officer Matthew Robinson recently responded to investigate the armed robbery of a man trying to sell a pair of shoes via Craigslist. The victim told officers the men flashed a gun and robbed him of several items, including the shoes. One of the robbers was spotted nearby and--despite having a brand new pair of stolen Air Jordans on his feet—was quickly caught by Detectives Michael Kirby, Tori Wilson and Brian Taylor. The investigation remains on going, but it makes us wonder—shouldn't the Department-issued shoes be the ones selling for $200 a pair?
