Today’s Good News
First Precinct
Officer Matthew Robinson responded Sunday night to investigate a silent 911 call
from a home on Oakwood Avenue, but quickly discovered something else was going
on. As he walked up to the residence, he smelled marijuana and spotted a known
wanted individual at the house. After the residence was secured and a search
warrant obtained, officers later found and seized cocaine, marijuana, drug
packaging materials, one firearm and cash. Their investigation also resulted in
the arrest of two individuals for 15 felonies, two misdemeanors and three
warrants. Officer Robinson also seized two additional illegally-possessed
firearms during the rest of his shift. Keep up the good work Officer Robinson!
