Warrants Officer Kim
Pulley
may have been stationed at a desk, but she immediately knew something was
suspicious recently when a “friend” of a man wanted for murder called the desk
to see if the man had any warrants on file. Though Officer Pulley knew about
the conspiracy to commit murder warrant, she advised the caller that the man
had no warrants and noted his phone number to pass along to Major Crimes
detectives.
Prior to Officer Pulley’s actions, detectives
had been unable to locate this suspect despite several attempts. Thanks to her
attention to detail and quick thinking, detectives were able to use the
information to find and arrest the suspect without incident as well as recover
pertinent evidence related to the investigation. Without her good work, it’s
likely the suspect would have attempted to flee and evidence would have been
destroyed. Good job Officer Pulley!
