Today’s Good News
A man who recently
moved to the city emailed the Department last week to thank and commend the officers
for making the city a safe place to live, play and work. “I just want to pass
along a thank you and congratulations for making this one of the safest cities
I've lived in despite preconceived notions. I believe the officers on bikes
around the Fan and surrounding areas have made a huge difference as well as
updated lighting projects,” he wrote. “Of course, no city is without crime, but
the strides made in fighting drug/violent crimes as well as theft and burglary
have made this city immensely more attractive to newcomers such as myself.
Please keep up the good work and thank you again!”
