Thanks
to the quick and very coordinated response by several Fourth Precinct
officers and a K-9 team recently, a violent fugitive wanted out of New York
was safely arrested in Richmond. New York authorities suspected the fugitive
might be at a bus station in the city and Officers David Marakovitz, Michael
DiSalvo, Michael Kiniry, Nicholas Stirrett and K-9 Officer Rob Gregory and K-9 Sumo went to
investigate. Officer Marakovitz was the first one to spot the fugitive in line
at the ticket counter. The officers then worked together quickly and quietly to
safely take the man into custody without risking the lives of the numerous
innocent civilians in the bus station. Good job officers!
