Today’s Good News
Thanks
to the speedy response of Third Precinct Officer Brian Shows and his
knowledge of his sector, a man suspected of several robberies and car break-ins
was recently captured. Officer Shows was dispatched one evening to an
in-progress vandalism on Monument Avenue after a victim spotted a man tampering
with his vehicle. Though the suspect fled the scene on bicycle, Officer Shows
circulated the area until he spotted someone matching the description. Further
investigation determined the man detained was the offender and he was charged
accordingly. Additionally, detectives are continuing their investigation into
the suspect’s likely involvement in other related crimes. Good work Officer
Shows!
