Today’s Good News
Kudos
to Assistant Communications Officer
Supervisor Maurice Snead who was named the Department’s Communications Supervisor of the Quarter! Supervisor Snead has
been with the Division of Emergency Communications for more than 16 years and
it’s those years of experience that guide our younger communications officers
as they learn the ropes.
Though Supervisor Snead currently has six
communications officers assigned to directly to him, he often leads a platoon
of 13, providing support as needed and fulfilling his supervisor duties that
include keeping himself and his employees informed of updates and policy
changes as swiftly as possible. Supervisor Snead’s incredible multi-tasking
also includes attending outside training to further his knowledge while still
assisting in preparations to acknowledge the longtime service of a retiring
communications officer. With his impeccable hard work and passion, Supervisor
Snead is known as an approachable leader from whom everyone can learn. Thank
you and congratulations Assistant Communications Officer Supervisor Maurice
Snead!
