Today’s Good News
Thanks to the speedy response of several Fourth Precinct officers
recently, a man who broke into a home was arrested within minutes of the crime.
Officers Ryan Donald and Gene Carter
were the first officers on scene and they spoke with the victim before
following the burglar’s trail out the back door. That’s where they saw Officer Jerry Scott detaining a man who
matched the suspect’s description just 80 feet from the home. The victim
identified the burglar and after further investigation by the officers, they
found drugs on his person and charged him with multiple narcotics offenses,
illegal firearm possession, burglary and another outstanding warrant. Good work
officers!
