RICHMOND POLICE DEPARTMENT
DAILY CRIME REPORT
May 6 – May 7, 2014
Today’s Good News
A citizen who lives downtown emailed the Department yesterday to thank
officers for all of their efforts involving the U.S.A. Cycling Collegiate Road
Nationals this past weekend. “The officers were friendly, helpful, quick with a
kind word or just a ‘how are you today?” the woman wrote.
“The police chief walked around all three days, greeted his officers,
chatted with people on the street (me being one) and seemed genuinely
interested in how everyone was. I was just so impressed with the police force.
I hope you have all had a bunch of 'thank you’s' for all that you did over the
weekend. Please add mine!”
