Today’s Good News Thanks to the quick response and good investigative work by a Second Precinct detective on Sunday, a serial burglar has been arrested and charged! It all began Sunday evening when a citizen spotted a man driving his stolen vehicle and called police. Detective Mark Hatchett quickly responded to investigate and detained the vehicle. Thanks to his speedy response and good investigation, the man confessed to him that he had committed several burglaries. He was subsequently charged with three of them but is a suspect in 17 burglaries in the city and other jurisdictions. The investigation remains ongoing. Good work Detective Hatchett!
