Today’s Good News
Fourth Precinct Officer Virgil Burton was one of several officers who recently responded to a life-threatening stabbing call on St. James Street recently. After Major Crimes detectives developed a suspect, Officer Burton used his knowledge of the area and his contacts with in the community to develop intelligence to locate the suspect. His diligence paid off. He coordinated with other officers to search the specific area and was able to find and safely arrest the suspect. Good work Officer Burton!
