Oct. 11 – Oct. 12, 2012

Today’s Good News
Second Precinct Officer Robert Taylor recently responded to a home on Drewry Street to investigate an early-morning burglary. As he approached the home, he saw a broken window and heard someone inside. He immediately called for backup and after a perimeter was set up, he entered the residence and found the burglar hiding under insulation in the attic. Officer Taylor safely took him into custody and as he explained to the magistrate that the man was trying to steal copper, the man corrected him, saying he had stolen aluminum. Thanks for that clarification! And good work Officer Taylor!
