Today’s Good News

A citizen called this week to compliment Second Precinct Officers Loynell Jefferson, Ezequiel Canete and Michael Wheeler (who just graduated from the 107th Basic Recruit Class two weeks ago) for a job well done. The compliment stemmed from a call for service for a theft from building that occurred earlier in the day on Olive Avenue.

The citizen stated these officers took the time to hear his complaint about missing items from his home, treated with him kindness and respect and then explained which VA Code section applied to his situation. He felt Richmond Police was on his side, he said. The citizen went on to say he can sleep well at night knowing officers within the City of Richmond Police Department care.
