Today’s Good News

Third Precinct Officers Carl Scott and Gary Venable recently responded just after midnight to investigate a group of men pulling on vehicle door handles near Belmont and Parkwood streets. With the assistance of K-9 Officer Sammy Hernandez and K-9 Niko, the suspects were stopped and detained at Idlewood and Sheppard streets. Thanks to a good witness, an adult male and three juveniles were identified as the ones entering vehicles and all four were charged with various crimes. Additional charges are pending as the investigation remains ongoing. Good work officers and thank you to the observant citizen!
