June 25 – June 26, 2012

Today’s Good News
Thanks to an observant citizen and fast-acting Third Precinct officers, a burglar was recently captured on Monument Avenue. A citizen called police after seeing an unknown man enter a neighbor’s garage at night and walk out with two bicycles. Officers Ryan Bailey and Christopher Shore responded and tracked down the suspect. Officer Keri Buyalos located and notified the bicycles’’ owners while the offender was transported to jail. With the assistance of Det. Patrick Ripley, the man was charged with two counts of grand larceny, burglary and public intoxication. Good work!
