June 20 – June 21, 2012

Today’s Good News
Bank robberies abounded in the Metro Richmond area last week. But thanks to the great teamwork of First Precinct officers and detectives, the K-9 Unit and the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, the offender in last week’s SunTrust bank robbery on Hull Street was in custody within four hours! Well-deserved kudos to the following key players in the quick close of this case: First Precinct lead Det. David Cuffley, Sgt. Mike Alston, Det. Dana Brereton, Det. Calvin Layne and Officer James Peck; Major Crimes Det. Sandy Ledbetter-Clarkson on the Fugitive Task Force; and K9 Officer Anthony M. Jackson and K9 Hopper. Great job everyone!
