Today’s Good News

Fourth Precinct Officers Margaret Cunningham and Thomas Neale recently responded for an armed robbery on Boulevard. After they broadcast the suspects’ descriptions, Sgt. Kenny Bayne spotted and stopped the vehicle on West Leigh Street. With the help of Detectives Anthony Jackson and Leonard Jones, the robbers were identified and arrested. Good teamwork!

A male reported he was assaulted by an unknown male.

4^th Precinct

MURDER/AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (SHOOTING) (X2)

2/9/11 9:25 p.m.

2700 block of Chamberlayne Avenue

A male and female were shot at the above location. The female later died of her injuries. The male’s injuries are not life-threatening.

An unknown person(s) stole several prescription medications from the residence.
