Today’s Good News

After two teens were recently robbed on West Broad Street, Fourth Precinct officers worked quickly with nearby VCU Police to capture the offender. Officer Thomas Croce gathered and broadcast the suspect information while two VCU Police officers spotted and caught the man. With the help of Fourth Precinct Detective L.C. Jones, the robber was identified and arrested.

A female reported she was held against her will by a known male.

1100 block of West Avenue

A male was found shot to death at the above location. Foul play is not suspected. Medical Examiner’s Office to determine cause of death.

5500 block of Hull Street Road

A male reported he was robbed at gunpoint by an unknown male.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT (DOMESTIC)

2/22/11 11:55 p.m.

1400 block of Bruce Street

A male reported he was cut by a known female. An arrest was made.

5500 block of Campbell Avenue

A male was found shot outside at the above location. His injuries are life-threatening.

An unknown person(s) stole an HVAC unit from the residence.
