Today’s Good News
Records and Technology Systems Operations Administrator Linda Galaspie
was recently recognized by a colleague for her good work. “She always responds in a timely manner and the work products she produces makes my job easier and ultimately makes the city safer by enabling me and others to produce reports and provide analyses to help with strategic and tactical decision-making.”

1st Precinct

2/12/11 -- 12:46 a.m.
2000 block of Accommodation Street
Two females reported they were shot by a known male. One of the victim’s is in critical condition; the other’s injuries are not life-threatening.

1st Precinct
2/12/11 -- 12:53 a.m.
17th and Broad streets
A male was shot inside a vehicle traveling westbound on East Broad Street. The vehicle crashed into two utility poles at 17th and Broad. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

2/12/11 -- 2:35 a.m.
1816 N. 30th St.
A female reported she was stabbed by a known male during an argument.

3rd Precinct

2/13/11 -- 7:32 p.m.
1208 Westover Hills Blvd.
A female reported she was robbed at gunpoint by an unknown male.

3rd Precinct
2/13/11 -- 9:30 p.m.
2401 Shelia Lane
Three females reported they were robbed of their purses at gunpoint by an unknown male.

2nd Precinct

2/13/11 -- 11:15 p.m.
2444 Brady St.
A male reported he was shot by an unknown male. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.

2/11/11 – 2/12/11 -- 6:00 p.m. – 8:45 a.m.
1516 Spotsylvania Ave.
Miscellaneous power tools and other work-related items were stolen from a building undergoing renovation.

2/11/11 – 2/13/11 -- 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
722 N. 33rd St.
A PlayStation III game system and several games were stolen from the residence.

2nd Precinct
2/12/11 -- 3:00 p.m. – 5:10 p.m.
912 Arizona Court
Electronic equipment was stolen from the residence.

3rd Precinct

2/12/11 -- 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
1021 German School Road
An unknown female stole two pairs of tennis shoes from an apartment.
