Today’s Good News

A man recently robbed a business on West Broad Street, but thanks to community involvement, the quick response of Third Precinct Officers Naitraj David and Willie O’Neil and good investigation by Detective Eric Sandlin, the man didn’t get away with the crime. Minutes after the business was robbed, a citizen flagged down the officers and told them about the robber getting into a specific vehicle. The officers then spotted the robber’s vehicle on West Clay Street and attempted to stop it. When the vehicle refused to stop, the officers ended the pursuit for safety reasons, but were able to gather enough information that helped the detective identify the man involved. A few days later, the man surrendered to Detective Sandlin and was charged with robbery. Good work everyone!
