March 6 – March 7, 2013

Today’s Good News

Thanks to the quick response and good police work of Third Precinct Sgt. Chris Jernigan and Officers Andrew Nicholson and Devin Marks, two burglars were caught red-handed trying to steal items from a home on Taylor Avenue. Sgt. Jernigan was the first on scene and detained a man and woman both holding items they claimed to have permission to take. Officers Nicholson and Marks interviewed the burglars and the home’s residents who had arrived on scene and easily determined that the burglars weren’t telling the truth. Officer Nicholson also discovered marijuana inside the burglars’ vehicle. Both individuals were charged with multiple crimes. Good work everyone!
