Today’s Good News
First Precinct Officers Reynaldo Perez and LaTosha Lewis were recently working a traffic control assignment at 17th & East Franklin streets when they saw a man exchanging gunfire with another person in a vehicle. The officers called for backup and ran toward the fray, even as the individuals shot at the officers. They ordered the individuals to the ground and, with the assistance of other responding officers, took several individuals into custody. Thanks to their brave and selfless actions, no one was injured during the incident and several felony charges were filed. Good work officers!
