Dec. 19 - Dec. 20, 2012

RICHMOND POLICE DEPARTMENT
DAILY CRIME REPORT

Dec. 19 – Dec. 20, 2012

Today’s Good News
After a man was tragically murdered on Larchmont Lane last month, several officers responded to investigate. As officers began broadcasting the suspect’s description, Second Precinct Sgt. Michael Pullen spotted a man matching the description walking on Midlothian Turnpike. Sgt. Pullen attempted to approach the man, but he took off running. Sgt. Pullen gave chase, running for more than two blocks and jumping over several fences before safely arresting the suspect behind a house. That suspect was later identified as the murderer and charged accordingly. Good work Sgt. Pullen!
