Today’s Good News
Third Precinct Officers Glendon Cox and Keir Hinton recently responded to a gas station on Midlothian Turnpike for a report of a disorderly person. Though the man left before they arrived, they patrolled the area and spotted him walking with two bags of golf clubs. The man dropped the bags when he saw the officers and tried to walk away, but the officers stopped and interviewed the man, who claimed to find the bags on the ground. The officers quickly canvassed the area and found a van with other golf items that had been broken into. The man confessed to stealing the items and was charged with grand larceny. The stolen items were also returned to the victim. Good work officers!
