Today’s Good News
Third Precinct Officers Joseph Ronan, Louis Burrell and Bernard Kenny recently responded to a night-time burglary on Idlewood Avenue. Officers Ronan and Burrell noticed a back door broken open while Officer Kenny secured the front door. Moments later, they heard noises from inside and a man began to walk out the back door. Upon seeing the officers, he ran back inside and out the front door, straight into Officer Kenny! As the officers worked together to arrest the burglar, several pieces of stolen jewelry fell from his person. With the assistance of K9 Officer Monty Agee, K9 Koda and Officers Chris Williams, Michael Kiniry and Det. Charles Kane, the residence was searched and secured and the man was charged with burglary. Good work!
